Riders’ Summit – Oregon

Riders’ Summit – Oregon Coast & Wine Country

Welcome to Oregon, one of the most underrated states in the Union, especially when it comes to incredible roads, wild scenery, and over-the-top riding experiences. It doesn’t take much time on two wheels before you are in the wind and thundering along roads that are right out of a postcard for motorcycle lovers.

Plan to arrive at EagleRider, Portland in the morning because the first thing we do is saddle up and ride! You’ll also need to pack light for the road because each day is a different town and adventure as we’ll stay at the coolest hotels, eat at the funkiest restaurants and drink the most incredible wines Oregon has to offer.

Here’s what’s in store:

Day 01, Tuesday September, 16: EagleRider Portland to Oregon Wine Country
• 12:00 p.m. – Depart EagleRider, Portland

Our first ride is a beautiful stretch along the famous Columbia River Scenic Byway, a lush tunnel of green canopies that open to river views and spectacular waterfalls. Once we turn inland from the Columbia River we will soon find ourselves in the heart of Oregon’s wine country; a region that produces some of the finest pinot noir in the United States. We’ll spend tonight in McMinville, a quaint Oregon landmark town with amazing restaurants, wine bars, and 100 year old saloons on every corner.

Day 02, Wednesday, September 17: Oregon Wine Country to Cannon Beach, OR
• 8:30 a.m. – Morning Session
• 12:00 p.m. – Depart hotel and ride!

No ride through Oregon would be complete without a ride along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the state, but for a lot of riders the winding road that takes us west to the coast is equally as amazing as the stretch that hugs the shores of the Pacific. We’ll take a long lunch and relax with ice cold beer, fresh crab legs, and some salt air therapy. Our hotel for the night is a favorite for the Portland and Seattle weekend crowds who don’t mind spending a little extra dough to sleep feet from the crashing surf. Once there we’ll roast fresh clams over an open fire on the beach and pass a few flasks of our favorite whiskey and scotch.

Day 03, Thursday, September 18:
• 8:30 a.m. – Morning Session
• 12:00 p.m. – Depart Hotel and Ride!

You’ll not believe what’s in store on this day. You’ll have to trust us on this one, but get ready for an amazing ride and equally memorable hotel experience at The Cannery Pier. If you love steak, seafood, single malt, and vintage labels after a mind blowing ride then you are on the right track.
