A Bonneville For The Back Trails: The 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler
The Triumph Street Scrambler remains a firm favorite in the 2021 Triumph line-up. This British-made scrambler is an evolution of the legendary Triumph Bonneville, equipped with modern riding aids for confident street riding, and dirt-focused extras for when you want to tear up some trails. Like all Triumph motorcycles, the Street Scrambler fuses heritage design with modern capability for an unmistakable ride experience.
The heart of the Street Scrambler is an updated 900cc parallel twin Bonneville engine. For 2021, the engine produces a solid 65 horsepower and 69 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the rear wheel via a 5-speed transmission. That power is kept under control using Ride-by-Wire, three selectable ride modes, a torque-assist clutch, and switchable ABS and traction control.
To complement the bike’s scrambler ergonomics, the Street Scrambler also includes cartridge wider-spaced forks, Brembo front brakes, a high-level twin exhaust, wire-spoked wheels, and Metzler Tourance tires. Other cool features include an LED rear light, premium instrumentation, an immobilizer, and a USB charging port.
For 2021, the Triumph Bonneville Street Scrambler is available in three color options: Fusion White, Cranberry Red, and Khaki Green & Matte aluminum.
The 2021 Triumph Street Scrambler starts from $11,000 USD / $12,450 CAD.
