Power on Little Bike, Power On
Do you love the Grom but need an electric powertrain in your life? Meet the Tromox Mino. This little bike is about the same size as the Grom or the Kawasaki Z125 and it’s ready to rock. the little bike weighs just 149 pounds and has a 2.5-kW motor with a 60-volt battery and a variety of capacities, including 2.3 kWh, 1.9 kWh, 1.6 kWh, and 1.3 kWh, according to electrek.
With the best kit, you’ll get up to 73 miles per charge if you keep the speed to 18.6 mph. If you scoot the little bike up to its top speed of 37 mph, then you’re looking at a seriously diminished range, but I expect you to wring this little bike’s neck every chance you get.
The company purposely designed the bike with plenty of hardpoints so that you can customize it to your heart’s content. It has an inverted front fork, a single shock in the rear, and disc brakes. the bike also connects to a smartphone app that will allow riders to make tweaks to the bike and see the status of the bike. Overall, it looks like a fun little machine.
