Triumph’s Heavyweight Naked: The 2021 Triumph Speed Triple S
Contents
The Triumph Speed Triple S is a British-made heavyweight naked roadster, and one of the most recognizable motorcycles in the 2021 Triumph line-up. It’s a versatile ride that can adjust its temperament to a wide range of situations. If you need a super sporty track bike, it won’t let you down, but if you need a more laid-back commuter, it’s got you covered there too.
Like many other Triumph Motorcycles, the Speed Triple S is powered by a liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder engine, but the Speed Triple S packs a displacement of 1,050cc. The result is a power output of 148 horsepower and 86 lb-ft of torque. That power is kept under control with four selectable riding modes (Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider), switchable ABS and traction control, and cruise control.
Throw in a pair of fully adjustable Show front forks, a monoshock RSU, Brembo brakes, Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tires, high-gloss cast alloy wheels, and a load of top-notch features like a USB charging point, LED DRLs, and a new 5” TFT display, and you’ve got a serious naked roadster on your hands.
For 2021, the Speed Triple S is available in two color options: Jet Black or Crystal White.
The 2021 Triumph Speed Triple S starts from $14,350 USD / $16,000 CAD.
